Let's try this again

I am gonna attempt to blog more. Busy is not even the word for what I have been. Let me tell you what I have been up to.

(1) Working non-stop
(2) College full-time
(3) Working at The Med on Sundays in Shock trauma. The worse of the worse.  I seriously love it though. The only Level 1 trauma unit within 150 miles of here from what I have heard.
(4) Having 5 kids and a hubs.

So......This girl has been BUSY.

Long month

We spent a week here with Seth. 2 days in ICU and the rest of the days on the pulmonary floor.



And now Grayson has a broken collarbone. It has not been our month.

I am hoping for a quiet rest of the month.

It's been a while.

We have dealt with alot recently. Alot of sickness and school issues. Things should start slowing down soon and I will be back to blogging.
Sorry my loves. I miss yall so much.

Home with a sick kid.

Grayson came and got in the bed with hubs and I early this morning. So that means we didn't sleep once he got in the bed. I told hubs this morning "Grayson is sick. I am not offer to let him stay home." He agreed that was for the best. About 15 mins I hear "Mom, I threw up in your bed." I went running to see. Yup he certainly did. So I told him he could stay home from school but he had to do what Sullivan and I had planned today. He agreed. We have been to Target and Walmart so far. We finally came home. Grayson seems like he is feeling better. He is cleaning the living room. Don't hate people. My kids love to clean. LOL. Sullivan on the other hand needs a happy nap. Off to lay a baby boy down.

I think Kat Von D is so pretty. I wish I had her guts and talent. I have 4 tats and my biggest one yet is in the works. I am so excited!!!!!

Let me start by saying I heart shoes. I joined this site a while back. So far it has been hit or miss. Then the new boots came out. Oh Lord! I am in trouble. I just ordered these.







Are they not so sexy? I can't wait for fall to get here. I will post a pic when they get to my doorstep.

Just Thinking

Isn't it funny how you don't realize things until afterwards? Like how you say something not really even meaning anything by it.

      For example, I have always said "I will have all my kids by the time I am 30."  I really didn't think much about it. It was more of a joke. Somehow it worked out though. I had my 1st when I was 19 and last when I was 29. Then I made a decision to permanently be done a month after I turned 30. I didn't think of it until now. The thing that I have always joked about happened. How crazy is that?

Mom of boys

I have learned so much as a mom of all boys. 

For example: 

Attitudes are horrible

Walking around in underwear is no big deal.

That for some reason. They will grab their privates everytime mom changes their diaper. 

That tummies and butts talk.

That it is hilarious to them to fart or burp. 

The house is ALWAYS loud. Sounds like a herd of elephants upstairs.

There is always mud and dirt on floors and clothes.

It is a chore to get them to take baths or showers.

Things that come out of there mouths are so funny. 

They love their mommy. 

I have been told that having boys was so much easier then having girls. I would of done anything to have a girl. I made due with smocked clothes and their name on everything I could put it on. This drove the dads crazy. I think I was given all boys for a reason. I can be a girly girl when I want to but I would much rather be on a softball field playing, camping, or being on a four wheeler. Collyn and Grayson start soccer this fall. Do you have any idea how giddy this makes me? I think I am more excited then they are.  I have finally got to the point that I am okay being the only girl. This means I get spoiled by them. I get all the kisses and hugs. I am very protected. I will get plenty of daughter-in-laws one day. 

I love my boys more then they will ever know.

A day at the park

There is nothing better then going to the park. We all loaded up for a friends bday party. The boys were so excited. Maybe mom was a little excited too. We had a blast.

Where have I been?

I have not blogged in forever. I had no idea how long it has been. Wow!!!

We had a very busy summer. We took Seth, Collyn, and Sullivan to Six Flags St. Louis. It was a blast. Weather was awesome. We walked right onto rides. Then Brian and I went to Atlanta. Six flags in Atlanta was so not as fun as St. Louis. We just got back from Spring River with friends. That was totally better then I expected. I can't wait to go back. We are going to the beach in September. I love vacations!

My Birthday Boy

A year today my last baby boy made his way into the world. I cant believe it has been a year. Let me give you an insight of his journey.

We had a HUGE cancer scare. I went in for more test and was told pregnancy test was negative. We expected that. We have been trying for a while before we tried fertility meds. They caused more problems then they helped. Anyways, back to tests. So doc walk out of room and came back and asked Brian to leave and said " The nurse walked past your test again and you are pregnant." I was completly in shock. He said "Can, I tell Brian?" I said "yes". If I could redo that moment I would not of told him. I wished I could of surprised him in a cute way. The pregnancy was rough. I was in and out of hospital. The last month was the hardest. I keep contracting but not dialating. I begged doc to help me every visit. Finally on April 5, 2010 he sent me to hosiptal for fluilds. I started contracting like crazy. I told my husband that he had to do something. I was hurting bad. I got up to go to the bathroom and started bleeding. We called nurse and she checked me and called doc. I was 3 to 3 1/2 cm dialted. I was like "Oh, Thank God." He admitted me. YAY!!!!
They moved me to a labor room. Labor took around 5 hrs. I was so numb I couldnt lift my legs. Thank you Mr. Epidurial guy. I have been through one natural birth. I didnt want to experience that again. After 3 pushes he was here. What a great feeling.
This year has been amazing getting to learn his quirks and little personality. I will post pics tomorrow of begining to present of Sullivan's life. I love you sweet baby boy! Happy Bday from Momma.

Babyproofing

I think it is time to baby-proof.
He is wearing us out getting into EVERYTHING.

Amelia

I thought there was way to many men and boys in the house. I needed some girl power in the house to make me feel more girly. I got the sweetest little kitty ever. We had a rough start but she has ended up being a crazy kitty. I mean how could you resist this little face.

My sick Sully

Sullivan had a horrible cold. He was so irritable. I have never seen him this miserable. It broke my heart. They gave him some meds that made him more restless. It completely sucked.

Working

I have been working more now that the weather is nice. I cant wait until summer. Wearing cute clothes, being tan, laying by pool everyday, and of course our yearly beach vacay. Working so much I realized how much I miss my babies. I have never been away from Sullivan more then a night. These three days have been hard. I now sit here with Sully playing and enjoying him pulling up on things and watching Grayson dressed in his Spiderman outfit show me how he can climb on the couch and climb the wall. How I miss this? I love the money working but I feel I am missing so much. Sullivan is 10 months old now. Grayson starts school this Aug. My babies are not babies anymore. So very sad. Where did my babies go?

Where is this headed?

I sit here trying to think what I would like this blog to turn into. I have googled blog ideas and I am still unclear on what to do.

The best surprise E-V-E-R

I knew Dane Cook was coming. I told my husband that I wanted to go. He said "I will get us tickets." This was the second time we have seen him. We drove to New Orleans to see him in 2009. I was so very excited to see him again. I got a babysitter and here we went. Little did I know that he set it up for us to have Gold tickets. Which meant we sat on the 2nd row and we got to meet him. I was tickled pink. OMG! OMG! I have always thought he was the sexiest man. OMG!!! He is alot shorter then I imagined. LOL

I am so sorry! I promised to blog more and I didnt. I have been so busy. We found a renter for our house and had to pack and move in 3 weeks. We are finally moved in. I have to say I *heart* my new house. I will post pics as soon as I can. I hope to start blogging more soon.
